About

The Magnificat Foundation and the Diocese of Brooklyn are proud to invite you to experience the Magnificat Day of Thanksgiving in Brooklyn, NY. It will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Kings theatre, featuring four of America’s greatest Catholic preachers: Fr. Peter John Cameron, o.p., Bishop Robert Barron, Dr. Scott Hahn, and Seán Cardinal O’Malley, o.f.m. cap.

After amazing successes in Orange County, CA, in 2012; Philadelphia, PA, in 2013; and Memphis, TN, in 2014; the Magnificat Day phenomenon is headed to Brooklyn, NY, to celebrate the worldwide Silver Jubilee of the Magnificat. The day will be filled with the same prayerful approach to beauty that you experience each month in Magnificat. Come and celebrate with the whole Magnificat team, including Pierre-Marie Dumont, the founding publisher of Magnificat, and many of our editors and contributors whom you have come to know over the years.

To guide our hearts and minds throughout the day, the program will emphasize great classical music and art, featuring a unique symphonic meditation by Pierre-Marie Dumont, which will be performed by a world-class symphony orchestra and choir.

The Magnificat Foundation has been specially entrusted with the relics of the Little Flower, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, and of her parents, Saints Louis and Zélie Martin, for its mission in the United States. The example of these saints and the presence of their relics are a great blessing and a support for the sanctification of the people of God, especially lay couples and their children. The relics will be available for veneration all day.

All previous Magnificat Days have sold out 2 months in advance, so we encourage you to register as early as possible.
