“Splendors of the Creed”

by Father Joseph T. Leinhard, s.j. and Father Frederic Curnier-Laroche

Comment: Striking physical shape (12 ¾” x 6 ¼”). Page shape lends itself to the presentation of the art and text in dramatic fashion. The typography and page layout are excellent and the color separation of the art is outstanding. The paper quality is superb. It’s an appealing marriage of appearance with a superb variety of texts including meditation, theology, and artistic analysis.

Best Cover

Magnificat, July, 2013

Comment: Simple, elegant image. Playfulness with cover logo location can backfire but it works here as the image pulls the eye down. Nicely done.
